The Hanze University of applied sciences is the oldest multisectoral university of applied sciences in the Netherlands. In 2023 it will celebrate its 225th anniversary. With branches in Groningen, Assen, Leeuwarden and Amsterdam, the university has approximately 30,000 students and 4,000 employees.
