Macedonian Media Literacy Network

The Media Literacy Network (MLN) was created to facilitate communication and consultation between the various entities in the country that work to raise the level of media literacy of all citizens. It should contribute to more frequent cooperation between the relevant stakeholders and to better and more sustainable project results.

The network was created in 2017 by 35 founding members, and its membership has now almost doubled. More information about the promotion of the Network can be found in the following text. It now has 86 members (public institutions and ministries, civil society organisations, educational institutions, media, companies and individuals/experts) and is continuously open for new members – it is only necessary to accept the Act of Formation and submit a signed Accession Letter to AVMU.

It was established at the initiative of the regulatory body – Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services, but it belongs to everyone and will be as successful as long as everyone is willing to contribute to it.
