Sikt was established on January 1, 2022, out of a merger between the Norwegian Centre for Research Data Ltd, Uninett Ltd, and Unit, the Directorate for ICT and Joint Services in Higher Education & Research. Sikt is a collaborative body that develops, purchases, and delivers products and services designed to enhance education and research experiences. Sikt offers a common infrastructure and joint services for the knowledge sector.

Sikt is the NREN in Norway, and we run procurement processes for the Norwegian universities and research institutions in Norway. Among others we work with solutions for VMS, LMS, and Digital examen solutions.
