On 28 April 2026 (14:00–15:30 CEST), the Media & Learning Association will host a webinar focusing on the lifecycle of educational video content, from creation to long-term reuse.
As institutions continue to produce large volumes of video for teaching and learning, managing, archiving, and reusing these resources has become a critical challenge. This session will explore practical strategies and decision-making processes around what to keep, how to organise video collections, and under what conditions materials can be effectively reused in new educational contexts.
Participants will gain insights into institutional approaches, tools, and policies that support sustainable video management. The webinar will also address key considerations such as metadata, accessibility, quality, and the balance between technological solutions and human expertise in managing audiovisual collections.
Part of the Media & Learning workshop series, this session offers a valuable opportunity for educators, media producers, librarians, and learning technologists to rethink how video resources can be preserved, repurposed, and integrated into future teaching and learning practices.
This webinar is co-organised with our member Ubicast.
