The European Commission has issued an open call for applications for the Media Literacy Awards, as part of the preparations for the European Media Literacy Week (18 – 22 March 2019). With the Awards, The EC would like to honour inspiring projects in the field of media literacy from across the EU. The seven best applicants will be invited to Brussels to compete for three Media Literacy Awards at the 19 March high-level conference of the European Media Literacy Week, which will be opened by Commissioner Mariya Gabriel. The call is open from now until 27 February 2019, 11:59 pm CET. This web site includes all relevant information and documents, including the eligibility criteria, information on the selection process as well as the application form.
