The Get Your Facts Straight! project was recently recognised as one of the best e-democracy practices of EU funded projects during the 18th edition of the annual European Week of Regions and Cities. The aim of the Get Your Facts Straight! project is to provide media literacy education to students and young people from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds, as well as to their parents and/or grandparents. During the project, the 9 project partners from all corners of Europe have developed and delivered media literacy training to combat disinformation and fake news to 900 people of all ages.
