The Media and Learning Association partnered with several leading organisations to organise a programme of successful daily media literacy webinars from 21 to 25 October. The topics covered ranged from using media literacy to fight extremism, hate and violence to working with influencers to build resistance to disinformation amongst young people. We were delighted to work with DW Akademie, European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO), MediaWise – Poynter Institute and Media Education Lab on the delivery of these sessions where the level of engagement was really high with well over 300 people taking part in one or more of the webinars. Recordings of the different sessions will be avilable shortly and those who registered to take part will also receive the presentations and resource information that was shared during these sessions.
