Membership of the Media & Learning Assciation continued to grow in November with the addition of two new Organisational Members and a new Network Member. Heidelberg School of Education (HSE) is a joint academic institution for teacher education of Heidelberg University (Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg) and University of Education Heidelberg (Pädagogische Hochschule Heidelberg). HSE currently runs an interdisciplinary initiative that aims at enhancing critical media literacy in teacher education (more information here). City, University of London is represented in MLA by Learning Enhancement and Development (LEaD) which supports, develops and influences education at the university. LEaD Digital Education is responsible for supporting City’s approach for using technology and multimedia for enhancing teaching, learning and assessment and the development of appropriate and engaging learning spaces. Pioneering Schools is a global platform and educators network with the mission to make innovation in learning more visible and scalable. Members are forward-thinking schools from innovation hotspots such as Tokyo, Helsinki, Berlin, Paris, Hong Kong, New York, Atlanta, Luxembourg, Düsseldorf, Antwerp, Vienna, Delhi, Singapore, Brasilia and London
