Sónia Hetzner from the Friedrich-Alexander-University, Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) in Germany moderated a lively closing discussion during the recent Media & Learning Online conference with a panel of experienced university audiovisual and digital service providers. They were Dominik Lukes, University of Oxford in the UK, Marco Toffanin, University of Padova in Italy, Carlos Turro Ribalta, Universidad Politécnica de Valencia in Spain and Erik Heijmans, Wageningen University in the Netherlands. While the discussion covered a range of different issues and concerns, one message was clear, most universities are still facing an uphill battle when it comes to coping with the wide-ranging changes brought about by the pandemic. And along with this, staff exhaustion and demotivation brings its own challenges according as the situation is prolonged. You can watch a recording of this session here as well as recordings of all sessions from this one day event on the programme website.
