In this dynamic session, Markus Tischner (Head of Media Production at Friedrich-Alexander-University) and Lizzy Bleumers (Research coordinator of Creative Production at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences) explored AI’s many roles in producing educational media resources for higher education. The session provided insights from a producer’s perspective, focusing on practical media generation tools and scenarios for different modalities incl. text, images, video, and audio. Participants learnt about the possibilities and limitations of using AI to create educational media from scratch and reworking existing content.
