AI as co-creator of education media resources

Part of series: Special Interest Groups

In this dynamic session, Markus Tischner (Head of Media Production at Friedrich-Alexander-University) and Lizzy Bleumers (Research coordinator of Creative Production at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences) explore AI’s many roles in producing educational media resources for higher education. The session will provide insights from a producer’s perspective, focusing on practical media generation tools and scenarios for different modalities incl. text, images, video, and audio. Participants will learn about the possibilities and limitations of using AI to create educational media from scratch and reworking existing content. We conclude the session with an interactive discussion on what you, as an educational media maker, need to benefit from generative AI. Saving you time, or maybe more…?

The event is exclusively for Media & Learning Association members. If your institution is not yet a member, you can learn more about joining here.
