Building Healthy Habits: the role of digital and media literacy

In this session, we explored how digital media and technology influence mental health. Topics included the impact on comparison, attention span, validation-seeking behaviour, self-esteem, body image, cyberbullying, and social media addiction. This session provided strategies for fostering healthy relationships with digital media and discussed how digital literacy can help prevent challenges such as anxiety, depression, and FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). The audience had the opportunity to engage in discussions and share insights during the event.
