We are excited to announce the second online session of our Autumn ’24 Wednesday Webinar Series: “Cross-Border Collaboration: Mobile Stories x eTwinning.” This session will introduce the Mobile Stories interactive publishing tool and the eTwinning platform and community, and providing some guidance on international projects. Participants will then engage in a hands-on exercise, where they can choose between three tasks of the cross-border initiative:
- “Inclusion, Gender Equality, and Diversity at My School“: This task asks students to research equality and inclusion policies within their schools, culminating in news articles.
- “Stereotyping: Who are the Heroes and Villains in the Media?“: This task encourages students to reflect on and analyse stereotypes and how different people are portrayed in the media.
- ”Interview a local journalist”: This task encourages students to produce an interview article or a podcast with a local journalist about disinformation and verifying information.
Speakers:
- Jenny Sklod, Voice4You, Sweden
- Lotta Bergseth, Voice4You, Sweden
- Emelie Hahn, eTwinning Ambassador, Uppsala, Finland
