The Media & Learning Association is organising a 2 parts hackathon as part of the framework of comprehensive capacity building course on digital education strategies. In two short interactive sessions aimed at Higher Education staff and middle management, you will be introduced in the subject of Intellectual Property Rights.
Register for this two-part hybrid event is free but places are limited due to the practical nature of the hackathon: you can participate in person on the Campus of DCU in Dublin or online. As it is a 2 parts hackathon, attending both session is mandatory.
Building on knowledge and experience around digital learning gathered during the COVID crisis, the StrategyHack project partners (Politecnico di Torino, KIC, EURASHE, Coventry University, UNIR and Media & Learning Association) have created an online course to strengthen the capacities of mid-level institutional leaders in higher education to promote more sustainable models of digital education. The course focuses on accelerating the digital transformation within higher education whilst promoting and nourishing high quality personalised digital environments. The whole online course contains modules on digital teaching and learning, organizational transformation, technology change, economic and political change and finally on institutional change. The course as a whole takes about 75 hours of self-study, peer learning and activities, but learners can also select parts of even individual modules.
