Good practice example for digital teaching. Dr. -Ing. habil. Andreas Maier from the Department of Computer Science 5 (Pattern Recognition) at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg explains his hybrid lecture concept on the topic of "Pattern Recognition and Deep Learning". Originally, the above-mentioned events were classic 90-minute lectures. These were to be digitised, on the one hand to deal with new challenges in general, but also specifically to counteract the limitations of the Corona pandemic. 15-minute teaching videos were produced, which were also transcribed together with Power Point slides. There were also question rounds and practice exercises supervised by tutors.
