The Nineteenth European Conference on Technology Enhanced Learning (ECTEL) will take place in Krems, Austria, from 16-20 September 2024, focusing on “Inclusive and equitable quality education for all.” As the world rapidly transforms through technological advancements such as Generative Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, and Connectivity Technologies, the educational landscape is expanding with new possibilities and complex challenges. The 2024 conference theme aims to explore the role of Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL) in achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal for education, which emphasises inclusivity, equity, and lifelong learning. Topics include digital/AI literacy, lifelong learning, and the scalable, sustainable deployment of emerging technologies.
