ISE Education Technology Summit 2026, Barcelona, Spain, 3 February 2026

The Education Technology Summit returns to ISE 2026 on Tuesday 3 February, 14:00–18:00 at CC5.1, bringing together educators, technologists, and thought leaders to explore the latest strategies, learning models, and trends shaping education technology in universities, schools, corporate training, and other learning environments.

This year’s summit, themed “A Learning Future for All”, offers a unique, immersive experience combining archaeology, philosophy, and time travel to examine how technology can serve learners and educators alike. The program focuses on aligning technical possibilities with human intent: how can we use AV and digital technologies to improve inclusivity, personalisation, and overall learning outcomes without widening the digital divide?

Delegates will hear from experts working with cutting-edge tools from AI to immersive learning, and learn how data can be leveraged to create more effective learning experiences. Drawing on three decades of insights in edtech, the summit concludes with a lively, collaborative session exploring the skills, mindsets, and tools required for equitable and sustainable, learner-driven futures.

The summit is chaired by Dr Gill Ferrell, Executive Director Europe for the 1EdTech Consortium, and long-standing Content Chair for ISE’s education-focused events. Gill brings extensive expertise, international connections, and practical insights into enhancing learning with technology.

Attendees can purchase all-conference passes for access to all summits and sessions, or individual summit tickets. For any Members of the Media & Learning Association who would like a free pass to this summit, please contact the MLA Secretariat at info@media-and-learning.eu.
