The European Media and Information Fund (EMIF) recently announced the allocation of € 1 526 509,77 within the most recent round of EMIF’s Calls for Proposals to four new media and information literacy projects. This news came alongside EMIF’s annuncement of an overall allocation of € 4,2 MIllion for 16 projects across three priority areas: Investigations into Disinformation, Research – Studies & Sandboxes, and Media and Information Literacy. The successful projects are: Information and Media Literacy Programme for Judges and Policymakers (InfoLead) led by University of Oxford, UK; Bridging Facts (BRIF) led by Association Verificat, Spain; Media and Information Literacy for Societal Resilience through Europe-wide Library Networks, led by Stichting The Tactical Technology Collective – TTC, The Netherlands and SHAZAAM led by Aristotelio Panepistimio Thessalonikis, Greece.
