The Media & Learning Association is delighted to announce that Maarit Jaakkola from Nordicom has recently joined the association’s board of management. Maarit is a media researcher and assistant director at Nordicom, where her research is located at the intersection of journalism studies, culture and learning. Maarit has a background in teaching and journalism which places her perfectly on the board to ensure Media and Information Literacy receive the attention they require in our work. Welcome Maarit!
