On the 23 January, EADTU’s EMC-LM project on MOOCS for the labour market kicked off with all major European MOOC platforms (Futurelearn, France Université Numérique, Miriadax, EduOpen, OpenupEd), European public employment services, sectoral training organisations and companies. All platforms produce MOOCs which are suitable for the labour market, but also fragmented along different languages, topics, level and size, crediting, etc. This knowledge alliance brings together European key players with a diverse spectrum of expertise: MOOC platforms, universities, employment services, companies and networks to join forces and use cross-sectoral and cross-border approaches to MOOCs.
