The 7th Annual Summer Institute in Digital Literacy run by Renee Hobbs and her colleagues in The Media Education Lab takes place July 14-18 2019 in Providence, Rhode Island, USA. The institute is a 42-hour intensive professional development experience that attracts teachers, librarians and college faculty from across the country and around the world for a hands-on, minds-on learning experience like no other. As the organsers say, you’ll be inspired by the leading voices in the field of digital literacy and get access to more than 30 workshops to explore new digital texts, tools and technologies. In Design Studio, you’ll discover the power of collaboration and get a chance to work on a project that’s meaningful to you, getting feedback and support from peers and experts. Visit the institute website for more information.
