During the two-day SELFIE forum which took place online on 7-8 October, participants shared their experiences with SELFIE and talked abut the impact it has been having based on evidence from two different research approaches. Opening the forum, Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth spoke about the value of the tool and with more than 10% of all European schools already using SELFIE, it’s clear this initiative is going from strength to strength in the European educational landscape. SELFIE is a free, easy-to-use, customisable tool available in multiple languages which aims to help schools assess where they stand with learning in the digital age and guide them in creating a digital plan for the school as a whole. SELFIEforTEACHERS, launched the same week, is a self-reflection tool to support teachers’ professional growth. On the second day of the forum Nicolas Schmit, European Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights launched the new SELFIE for work-based learning. Check out SELFIE here.
