Digitalhealth.net reported recently on surgical training being carried out by Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in the UK. The simulation technology used in these training sessions allows trainees to practice and develop their surgical skills in a safe environment before they go into a real operating theatre. This Trust is playing a leading role in the area of surgical training using VR and has already hosted a VR surgical training event for other junior surgeons in London. Read the full story.
