In April Renee Hobbs, an author of Copyright Clarity: How Fair Use Supports Digital Learning presented a free webinar The Road To Copyright Clarity consisting of three parts. In the webinar Renee explains best practices for teaching and learning about copyright and fair use. Through these three sessions she introduced key ideas about copyright as it applies to the work of librarians in public, academic, school and special library contexts. She covered various questions about copyright, digital media and learning which also led to discussing strategies for using inquiry practices to support people’s ability to gain a better understanding of copyright law and apply it to everyday life. The three webinars with slides, recorded sessions, and Q&A from each of them are available online.
