Two new organisational members joined last month which pushes the overall membership of the association to almost 40. The first to join was Lund University, represented by AHU, the division for educational development. AHU is an academic development unit commissioned to contribute to the development of education on all levels in Lund University. They collaborate with the faculties and other educational development units within the university in offering courses on higher education pedagogy and supporting teachers. Research regarding development of higher education pedagogy is conducted at the unit. AHU also is specially commissioned to support the development of e-learning at the university and has responsibility for some systems for e-learning, including LUVIT learning management system, LU play and LU Zoom.
The second new member is Université de Montréal, our first member in Canada. Université de Montréal is represented by the Centre de pédagogie universitaire (University Centre for Pedagogy) which facilitates the development of online courses and media resources. The Centre de pédagogie universitaire (CPU) offers training, support and support to teachers at the University of Montreal who wish to implement innovative teaching practices, better exploit digital learning environments, and develop online educational activities or resources.
