A recent article on the UOC.edu portal provides some insight into a new Learning Intelligent System (LIS) project which has been developed by an inter-disciplinary team of researchers at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). It has been the subject of a recent study which demonstrated the benefits of the system which not only identifies at-risk students, but also provides relevant information to improve the learning process and student performance.
