Echo360 recently reported on how veterinary students attending Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in the US are using video to perfect their surgical skills. Prior to lab sessions, students watch videos showing surgical procedures which they then practice themselves. The final step for when they feel they have got it right is to record themselves so their tutors can provide individual feedback based on their performance.
