The First International Conference on Educational Systems for Digital and AI Literacy (EdAI 2026) will take place 7–11 June 2026 in Porto, Portugal (hybrid format), bringing together educators, researchers, policymakers and practitioners to explore how digital and AI literacy can be fostered across learning systems from early childhood to lifelong education.
EdAI 2026 focuses on preparing learners and educators to engage ethically, critically and effectively with digital and AI technologies — addressing curriculum design, teacher training, inclusive strategies, assessment models and practical approaches to embedding AI literacy in diverse educational contexts.
The event aligns with ongoing efforts to advance a shared vision for equitable, sustainable and adaptive digital and AI literacy programmes in Europe and beyond.
