The XR4Human project has launched a publicly accessible ratings repository, designed to support the responsible development and evaluation of extended reality (XR) solutions. The platform offers test cases and a rating system to assess XR technologies against ethical, regulatory, and governance criteria, contributing to more human-centred immersive experiences.
At its core lies the XR4Human Code of Conduct, designed to guide developers in implementing responsible, inclusive, and ethical practices throughout all stages of XR development and deployment.
Alongside the Code of Conduct, the repository offers a user guide rating system, step-by-step instructions, and practical tools, making it easy to apply the Code in real-world projects. It also consolidates three years of XR4Human research and outputs, all in one accessible place.
