Announcing the Finalists of the MEDEA Awards 2025!

The MEDEA Awards Organising Committee is pleased to announce the finalists for the 2025 edition of the MEDEA Awards. This year’s shortlist includes nominees for the MEDEA Award, the Special Jury Prize, the Audience Favourite Prize, and the newly introduced category recognising the Best Use of AI in Education.

The 2025 edition attracted 137 submissions from 31 countries across Europe and beyond, highlighting once again the remarkable creativity and innovation in the field of educational media. Following a thorough evaluation by our international panel of judges, the following projects have been selected as finalists (listed alphabetically):

  • Beyond Lectures: AI & XR Learning Innovations & Emphasising the Shift from Traditional Teaching Methods – Imperial College Business School, United Kingdom
  • Counseling Skills Resource – Walden University, United States
  • Knowbody App – Knowbody UG, Germany
  • Moda re-: A Quest to re-Store Sustainability and re-Imagine Fashion – IE University, Spain
  • Moleculous – KU Leuven, Belgium
  • Phonics Adventures with Zelda – ClickView Pty Ltd, Australia
  • Supercampus – 3Cat – Contents, Programation and Cultural Area, Spain

All finalists are invited to present their entries at the upcoming Media & Learning Conference: Educational media that works, which will be held in Leuven, Belgium on 18–19 June 2025.

The winners of the MEDEA Awards 2025 will be officially announced during a special Awards Ceremony taking place at the Provinciehuis (Spoor95), Leuven, on Wednesday, 18 June from 18:00 to 20:00 CEST.

While not all entries could be shortlisted, the Organising Committee extends heartfelt thanks to every participant for their valuable contributions. The quality and diversity of this year’s submissions were truly outstanding, and we encourage all entrants to consider participating again in future editions.
