The Media & Learning Association is proud to announce the launch of its newest EU-funded (ERASMUS+) project, AI-LITERATE, which is set to begin in October 2025. This ambitious initiative aims to boost AI literacy in higher education, focusing on Generative AI (GenAI) and disinformation.
AI-LITERATE brings together a dynamic consortium of universities, media experts, and digital education stakeholders from across Europe. The project will design, pilot and validate a blended learning programme, aiming to upskill HEI professors and students in GenAI. It also intends to foster international collaboration, promoting the exchange of GenAI educational best practices and guidelines across Europe, and enhancing the digital competencies of the academic community.
As part of the project, Media & Learning will lead the dissemination efforts and support the development of innovative training resources, capacity-building workshops, and the co-creation of guidelines to support the integration of AI literacy into higher education curricula.
AI-LITERATE seeks to empower the next generation of learners to become not only competent users of AI but also critical and ethical thinkers in an AI-driven media ecosystem. Stay tuned for updates, calls for collaboration, and opportunities to get involved!
