However, as AI becomes increasingly integrated into audiovisual archives, it raises complex questions around its responsible use; ethics, copyright, and the strategic role it gained in the institutions. The EUscreen symposium “Responsible Use of AI in Audiovisual Archives,” aims to explore these and other topics by bringing together experts from the creative sector, academic researchers, and archivists.
