Welcome to our newest members from the UK and Belgium!

This month, the Media & Learning Association is pleased to welcome two new organisational members: Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium and the University of St Andrews, United Kingdom.

The AudioVisual Services department at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) provides comprehensive support in audiovisual infrastructure and content production. The team offers assistance to staff and students, manages infrastructure projects, and implements innovative technologies such as 360° immersive rooms. In addition, the department operates a lending service and supports the creation of high-quality audiovisual content across the university.

The IELLI: Technology Enhanced Learning Division at the University of St Andrews is a multidisciplinary team of 15 specialists, bringing together senior learning technologists, digital education developers, digital media producers, and experts in digital accessibility, IT training, and course coordination. The division supports academics, students, and learners through five complementary service areas—digital accessibility, digital education, digital environments, digital media, and digital training and skills—enabling the effective design and delivery of online, blended, and in-person teaching. In parallel, IELLI provides dedicated digital skills training for students and fosters a strong culture of partnership working with academic staff, learners, and colleagues across professional services.
