Do you want to share your media literacy initiative or insight with media literacy practitioners from all over Europe? We are looking for inspiring presentations! So join us at ‘Media Literacy Matters’, the European Digital and Media Literacy Conference taking place from February 27 to March 1, 2024 in Brussels (Belgium).
We are looking for inspiring and motivating inputs to the conference of different types. Each submitted proposal should be able to fit within one of these three broader themes:
- From disinformation to critical trust
- Digital and Media Literacy for all: how to reach everybody?
- The future of Digital and Media Literacy
All proposals must be submitted via the online form no later than November 10, 2023. Only a complete submission is qualified for review. Before you submit, make sure you have followed all instructions below:
Presentations formats
The following presentation formats are accepted:
- Live presentations
- Inspiring talks
- Panel sessions
- Facilitated discussions
- Workshops
- Posters/Demonstrations
- Roundtables
- Pecha kucha
- Other: explain the desired presentation format and provide details on the preparatory work expected of participants (if applicable). Describe how the content will be presented.
Proposal requirements
All proposals must be submitted via the online form. Each proposal must meet the following conditions:
- Session title
- Topic of focus
- Short description (max. 300 words)
- Session presenter(s) information
- At least two action-oriented learning objectives
- Brief description of proposed session format
