Revisiting Disinformation – Critical Media Literacy Approaches, 27-28 June, Crete, Greece

The S.HI.E.L.D. vs Disinformation project is pleased to announce its upcoming International Conference, titled “Revisiting Disinformation: Critical Media Literacy Approaches”, taking place on Friday, June 27, and Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the University Campus of Gallos in Rethymno, Crete, Greece.

This two-day event will bring together scholars, researchers, educators, professionals, and students from across Europe and beyond to explore the complex phenomenon of disinformation and its wide-reaching impact – through the lens of critical media literacy. The conference will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and research presentations, providing a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and innovative ideas on this increasingly pressing topic.
