In a ground breaking initiative in the context of deaf education, the e-book ‘Deaf Change Makers’ has been launched, featuring insightful interviews with 12 deaf role models from Germany, Italy, Lithuania and Greece. Developed as a key outcome of the Erasmus+ Sign4Change project, the e-book not only celebrates the achievements of deaf people, but also serves as a valuable educational resource. Particularly relevant to secondary education, the e-book aims to increase the confidence and inclusion of deaf students. By showcasing diverse narratives and achievements, it provides a unique platform for educators to integrate real-world success stories into their curriculum, fostering a more inclusive learning environment. “Deaf Change Makers is a testament to the power of diverse perspectives and serves as a tool to empower the next generation of deaf students on their educational journey.
