The European Media Information Fund (EMIF) is organising its first annual event “Funding the Fight Against Disinformation”, taking place on 2 December 2022, and hosted by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, Portugal.
The event will gather media organisations, researchers, NGOs and policymakers from across Europe to discuss the challenges and opportunities of fighting disinformation in Europe. In addition, the EMIF and its grantees will present their work and impact during the year. Amongst the grantees, the Media & Learning Association will be introducing its upcoming digital and media literacy project: TeaMLit, ”Teacher education in digital and media literacy: providing guidance, resources and support for teacher trainers in Europe”.
