As Europe prepares for its next long-term budget, an estimated 44 % of Europeans remain digitally excluded, highlighting an urgent need to turn funding ambition into concrete digital-learning opportunities.
To address this gap, the organisation ALL DIGITAL is organising a policy debate – titled “Making EU Funding Work for Digital Inclusion”, at the Government of Catalonia Representation to the EU in Brussels.
The event will bring together policymakers, learning-providers, digital competence centres and other stakeholders to explore how EU-funded programmes such as Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, and the Competitiveness Fund might better support digital skills, inclusion and lifelong learning.
Discussion topics will include the role of a new Erasmus+ proposal in supporting digital competence centres, and future funding priorities such as micro-credentials, certification frameworks and Pact for Skills.
