This new Erasmus+ call for proposals will continue the rollout of the European Universities initiative with a record total budget of €384 million. The call is structured around two topics, namely intensification of prior deep institutional transnational cooperation and development of new deep institutional transnational cooperation. European Universities aim at achieving the following main objectives, promoting common European values as enshrined in article 2 of the Treaty on European Union and reaching a substantial leap in quality, performance, attractiveness and international competitiveness as well as enabling deep institutional transformation of involved European higher education institutions and contributing to the European knowledge economy, employment, creativity, culture and welfare by making best use of innovative pedagogies and striving to make the knowledge a reality.
