Ensuring access to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in the area of digital and media literacy is just the latest in the many demands that are made for upskilling teachers, one that many people argue does not yet receive the attention and resources that it requires. During this webinar on 23 March we will be hearing from a variety of researchers and teacher educators about how best to introduce CPD programmes for teachers in this area and learning about several different programmes and activities already underway. What methods and approaches are the most effective? how best can we motivate and incentivise busy teachers to take part in such training? and what is the knock-on effect of making teachers knowledgable and competent in this area on curriculum and school resources.
