The first two online seminars run by the Media & Learning Association in their autumn series are coming up in September and places are still available for members and non-members. The first takes place on 9 September and is all about accessibility in Higher Education and the role in particular that technology can play. Under the title ‘How accessible are higher education video services one year on from the Directive?’ this afternoon session will provide an opportunity to share experiences and good practices in aspects such as captioning and designing for access. More information available here.
The second seminar this month is on Escape rooms and in particular, how thy can be used as a tool to help students develop their skills in fighting disinformation. Led by Chris Coward and his colleagues at the University of Washington Information School in the US, this seminar takes place on 23 September. More info here.
