It has been a while that we have presented another free nonlinear video editor, so here we go. Shotcut one is quite popular, it is a free and open-source, cross-platform video editing app for Linux, macOS and Windows. It uses the FFmpeg tool, a suite of libraries and programs for handling video and audio. The user interface is familiar: you will find a timeline for non-linear video editing with multiple tracks that can contain various file formats (including HTML5). Integrated are webcam and audio capture and also handy is the EDL (Edit Decision List) export in CMX3600 format. The editor furthermore contains tools for color grading. Very impressive for a free editor are the Video quality measurement and options for audio/video file integrity checks. Free on https://www.shotcut.org/
