Assessment in the age of generative AI

Part of series: Online Workshops & Seminars

Generative AI is rapidly changing higher education, challenging how we design assessments to ensure fairness, integrity, and relevance. This session brings together higher education teaching staff, policy makers, and professionals interested in assessment in the age of AI to explore guidelines from the TaLAI project and other European initiatives focused on ethical AI use and innovative evaluation methods. Through collaborative discussion, we’ll consider how to develop assessments that are robust, fair, and meaningful, supporting responsible student engagement and long-term institutional change.

More Information about the event will be announced shortly—stay tuned for updates!

The TaLAI (Teaching and Learning with Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education) project’s primary motivation is to pioneer innovative pedagogical approaches that ethically incorporate AI into higher education, empowering both educators and students to develop AI literacy and competence.
