The organisers of this year’s Media & Learning conference, titled ‘Back to the Future?’, are delighted to announce that one of our keynote speakers for this event will be Piet Desmet, Vice-Rector of KU Leuven & KU Leuven Kulak Kortrijk Campus. Piet will delve into the theme “Going Digital, Staying Human: AI and Other Edtech Challenges at KU Leuven.” Our second keynote will be delivered by Amanda Murphy, Senior Executive Producer at Storyfutures and professor at Royal Holloway University of London. Her talk will focus on the democratisation of XR. Last but not least, Gary Burnett from Loughborough University will explore the use of new immersive technologies in education and share the lessons learnt from their first experiences with using holograms.
