Pearson have recently released their global learner survey based on inputs from over 11,000 people. In amongst the 8 trends they have identified is their conclusion that the people see the future of learning made easier and more engaging with technology. People are using technology in every aspect of their lives and they are now embracing it as part of their education in many ways from online degrees to artificial intelligence (AI) tools and smart devices. At the same time, they found that confidence is educational institutions is wavering and many people surveyed said that education is simply not working for them.
