On 28 October, EDMO organised a workshop “United against disinformation: EDMO’s work on media literacy” as part of the European Media Literacy Week, coordinated by the European Commission Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology. This event provided an opportunity to talk about what EDMO and its national hubs are planning to do in the field of media literacy. Emma Goodman (London School of Economics and Political Science) from EDMO central opened the workshop by presenting EDMO’s focus on supporting existing and new efforts by media literacy practitioners in the field, including of course the national hubs in their media literacy work. Many of the hubs then shared their own particular take on Media Literacy and what they are planning in the coming months. Stay up to date with EDMO.
