Membership of our association continued to grow in February, with the acceptance of three new members. The University of Groningen in the Netherlands participates in various national and international projects aiming at innovating the use of multimedia in education. The university has so far published 14 MOOCs on the Futurelearn platform. Its facilities include professional broadcasting studios and a growing number of do-it-yourself studios. In addition, the Reality Center offers highly advanced Virtual Reality (VR) facilities for research and education. AP Hogeschool is a university of applied sciences and arts located in Antwerp, Belgium. Together with their Schools of Arts (Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp and Royal Conservatoire Antwerp), AP Hogeschool offers a wide range of study programmes with a strong focus on practice-based learning. Innovation is at the heart of their teaching practice. The University of Padua is one of Europe’s oldest and most prestigious seats of learning; it is a multi-disciplinary university that aims to provide its students with both professional training and a solid cultural background. Membership of the association is led by the university’s Digital Learning and Multimedia Office.
