This is a really nifty application, if you are a radio maker or a DJ or if you are looking for some nice tools for adding live audio to your video or audio programs. Jingle Palette is an instant jingle player that plays more or less all common audio file formats (MP3, MP2, MP1, MPA, OGG and WAV) and it even can play audio streams, all instantly available under your fingertips. If you install it on a touch screen laptop and load it with common background noises and sounds (like footsteps, rain, thunder…) you turn it into a fantastic hyper-reactive sound effects machine. The number of sound bites is practically unlimited and can be organized in so called palettes for easy recall and access. Settings allow for different play out modes (loop, overlap, automatic mix etc.) and for adjusting volume per clip. A great toy not only for the radio maker but also for the creative audio engineer… Free download for WinPC
