Supercampus, submitted by Albert Segura from 3Cat – Catalan Audiovisual Media Corporation (Spain), was the double winner at the 17th Annual MEDEA Awards held on 18 June 2025 at Provinciehuis Leuven during the Media & Learning Conference: Educational media that works. The platform, designed to support primary and secondary education with high-quality audiovisual content in Catalan, won both the main MEDEA Award and the Audience Favourite Prize: double victory!

The Special Jury Prize went to Moleculous, a 3D molecular visualisation tool created by Sven Graindor from KU Leuven (Belgium), while a brand-new Thematic Award for Best Use of AI in Education was awarded to Beyond Lectures: AI & XR Learning Innovations & Emphasising the Shift from Traditional Teaching Methods from Imperial College Business School (UK), presented by Andrew Parry.

The ceremony celebrated creativity and innovation in educational media, with 137 entries submitted from 31 countries worldwide. All finalists were honoured with commemorative medals, and a special recognition was given to Alberto Vasciaveo (IIS J.C. Maxwell, Italy) for his ongoing contributions as a MEDEA Judge.
