This paper, published in March 2024, reports on the findings of the European University Association (EUA) Learning & Teaching Thematic Peer Group “Development and strategic benefits of learning and teaching centres”. The group’s findings are detailed in various sections which beginvwith a presentation of the centres represented in the group. It continues by presenting a virtuous cycle model developed by the group for the continuous advancement of centres. In addition, recommendations accompany each of the model’s elements and, where possible, are illustrated through real-world practices at a centre belonging to one of the group members.
