The European Media Digital Observatory (EDMO) has opened a call for submissions to support the ongoing development of its Guidelines for Effective Media Literacy Initiatives. Organisations, networks, educators, researchers, practitioners, and institutions across Europe are invited to contribute.
Through this call, participants can submit a good practice or resource that demonstrates one or more of the 12 EDMO Principles, endorse the Guidelines on behalf of their organisation, or suggest improvements for future revisions. Contributions may range from educational initiatives and campaigns to toolkits, frameworks, training programmes, and community projects, submissions do not need to be large-scale or international to be considered.
Selected examples may be featured as good practices in the Guidelines, included as references, or used to inform future editions, giving participating organisations visibility with a European audience of media literacy experts and practitioners. Some contributors may also be invited to take part in a short online showcase session as part of the review process.
The call will close on Friday 30 October. Submissions will be reviewed primarily on the information provided in the submission form. Organisations wishing to contribute can submit via an online form.
